Tumors
Surgical management of urological tumours involving kidney, ureter, bladder, prostate, and adrenal glands.
Overview
Surgical management of urological tumours involving kidney, ureter, bladder, prostate, and adrenal glands.
Our oncological surgery team provides comprehensive care for urological malignancies. We employ a multidisciplinary approach with tumor boards, advanced imaging, and the latest surgical techniques including minimally invasive and organ-preserving options where appropriate. Treatment plans are individualized based on tumor characteristics, patient factors, and international oncological guidelines.
Procedures Offered
Renal Tumors
Renal tumors include both benign and malignant growths of the kidney. Treatment depends on tumor size, stage, and patient factors. Our team offers organ-preserving and radical approaches based on international oncological guidelines.
NSS (Open/Laparoscopic)
Nephron-Sparing Surgery (Open/Laparoscopic)
Nephron-Sparing Surgery (NSS) is a kidney-preserving procedure that removes only the tumor while preserving healthy kidney tissue. Available via open or laparoscopic approach.
Radical Nephrectomy (Open/Laparoscopic)
Complete removal of the kidney along with surrounding fat, Gerota's fascia, and sometimes the adrenal gland for large or centrally located renal tumors.
Ureter Tumors
Ureteric tumors are relatively rare and typically arise from the urothelial lining. Treatment usually requires removal of the affected ureter along with the kidney.
Bladder Tumors
Bladder tumors are among the most common urological malignancies. Treatment ranges from endoscopic resection for superficial tumors to radical surgery for invasive disease.
TURBT
Transurethral Resection of Bladder Tumor
TURBT is the primary diagnostic and therapeutic procedure for bladder tumors, performed endoscopically through the urethra.
Radical Cystectomy
Radical Cystectomy with Urinary Diversion
Complete removal of the bladder along with surrounding lymph nodes and creation of a new urinary drainage pathway for muscle-invasive bladder cancer.
Prostate Tumors
Prostate cancer is the most common malignancy in men. Surgical treatment offers excellent oncological outcomes for localized disease.
Radical Prostatectomy
Complete surgical removal of the prostate gland and seminal vesicles for localized prostate cancer.
Pelvic Exenteration
Extensive surgical removal of pelvic organs for locally advanced or recurrent pelvic malignancies.
Adrenal Tumors
Adrenal tumors may be functional (hormone-secreting) or non-functional. Surgical removal is indicated for functional tumors and suspicious masses.
